A quick note on perinatal support pricing

This kind of support represents more than fifteen hours of appointments, availability by phone and email, potentially a month-long on-call period around your due date, and continuous presence during the birth itself — not counting the time spent preparing for each appointment.

The price shown is the minimum rate.

If your means allow it, and you feel my services are worth more, know that I gladly accept any payment above this amount.

* I am not a midwife. This does not replace care from a midwife: it is complementary.

Important: A doula provides completely non-medical support. She is not a midwife, and her support in no way replaces medical care provided by a midwife or obstetrician-gynecologist.
Unlike a healthcare professional (midwife or doctor), a doula does not have medical responsibility. She does not provide any medical care related to pregnancy, the mother's or baby's health. She does not prescribe medication or make diagnoses.

As a doula, I position myself as a "friend of midwives".

Memorandum of Understanding

 

  1. Any appointment not cancelled 48 hours in advance is due and must be paid in full.

  2. The first meeting (at home or via video call), lasting approximately 2 hours, is charged at CHF 100.-. This amount is fully deducted from the chosen package if you decide to engage me as your doula.

  3. "À la carte" services must be paid for in full on the day of the session or in advance if the session is conducted via video conference.

  4. Payment for "package" services can be made in installments if necessary.

  5. The content of the "package" services cannot be modified during the service period. No refund, partial or full, will be issued for services already paid for in the event of cancellation of support without a medical justification.

  6. In the event of an unforeseen outcome of the pregnancy (INT, IMG, pathology, bereavement...), although perinatal support remains of all importance, only the meetings already held are due.

*Conditions for my presence during childbirth

 

  1. The full amount of the service is due from the moment I travel at the express request of the clients, regardless of the duration of my presence with the parents and/or the course and/or outcome of the delivery.

  2. During a home birth, my presence at the delivery will only be possible after a meeting and validation by the relevant independent midwife.

  3. During a home birth, my presence with the mother in labor cannot happen without that of the relevant independent midwife.

  4. During childbirth in a medical facility, my presence in the labor/delivery room will only be possible after approval by the medical team on duty. Their agreement is revocable at any time.

  5. During a birth in a PT or MdN, my presence in the birthing room will only be possible after validation by the medical team of the structure as well as after meeting and validation with the relevant independent midwife.

  6. My presence at the birth is only conceivable when combined with that of the medical staff, whether in home birth, PT, MdN or birth in a facility.
