Prenatal yoga - 6-weeks cycles

6-weeks of prenatal yoga

This 6-class program is designed to offer complete, safe support in your prenatal yoga practice.

With one session a week over 6 weeks, this cycle allows you to take in the full range of benefits prenatal yoga has to offer: supporting your well-being during pregnancy, preparing body and mind for birth, and learning practical tools to use throughout this time.

Each session has its own theme, and they're offered in a specific order so you can absorb these benefits step by step.
*Click here to learn more about why cycles are more beneficial than individual classes.*

Once your cycle is complete, you're welcome to sign up for the next one.

The overall structure stays the same from cycle to cycle, but the sessions themselves change each time.

Upcoming cycles in 2026

"I did two prenatal yoga cycles in a row with Roxane, and I can only recommend it! The classes suit everyone, and they're a chance to have a little bubble of your own, to center on your pregnancy during busy weeks! I'd also recommend the Mother & Partner Workshop — it lets you prepare for the birth together as a couple, and you come away feeling so much more equipped for that moment :)" (translated from French)
  • What's the difference from "ordinary" yoga?

Pregnancy isn't a time to drastically build strength or flexibility, or to push your regular yoga practice further.

Pregnancy is a time for maintenance. It's about doing what's safe and beneficial for you.

In a prenatal yoga class, the focus is on postures that create all the space the womb needs to hold a new life. Many common postures need to be avoided or modified, taking into account the different demands pregnancy places on the body.

A prenatal yoga class is adapted to these physical changes, offering only postures that are safe for the pregnant woman and her baby.

What's more, a prenatal yoga teacher makes sure to safely guide each student through the variations suited to her particular aches or conditions.

  • When can I start prenatal yoga classes?

It's recommended to wait until the end of the first trimester before starting a regular prenatal yoga practice — and you can practice right up until birth!

  • Why a 6-session cycle, rather than drop-in classes?

The 6-week prenatal yoga program has several advantages.

  • It's a complete program: each of the 6 sessions has its own goals and themes, covering all the benefits yoga offers during pregnancy — relaxation, breathing, toning the muscles involved in birth, improving physical and mental well-being during pregnancy, birth preparation, tools for the birth itself, and more. Attending all 6 sessions allows you to benefit from the full range of these benefits, week after week.

  • It creates a sense of continuity for the women enrolled in the same cycle.

  • With a maximum of 7 students per cycle, it creates an intimate atmosphere where connection and sharing can grow.

  • For the teacher, it means really getting to know each student and her particular aches or conditions, allowing classes to be tailored accordingly.

  • How do I book my spot for a cycle?

1 cycle = 1 class a week for 6 weeks

1. Choose the day of the week that works for you:

I offer 5 classes a week at The Yogarden studio, in downtown Lausanne:

  • Monday, 5:30–6:30 PM

  • Monday, 7:00–8:00 PM

  • Tuesday, 5:30–6:30 PM

  • Wednesday, 5:30–6:30 PM

  • Wednesday, 7:00–8:00 PM

2. Choose the cycle that works for you:

2026

  • Cycle 1: 01/05/26 to 02/11/26 (finished)

  • Cycle 2: 02/23/26 to 04/01/26 (finished)

  • Cycle 3: 04/13/26 to 05/20/26 (finished)

  • Cycle 4: 06/01/26 to 07/08/26 (finished)

Summer break from July 9 to August 16...

  • Cycle 5: 08/17/26 to 09/23/26 (FULL)

  • Cycle 6: 09/28/26 to 11/04/26 (registration open)

  • Cycle 7: 11/09/26 to 12/16/26 (registration open)

IMPORTANT:

  • Prenatal yoga classes fill up very quickly. I'd encourage you to sign up as early as possible.

  • Sometimes a spot opens up partway through (for example, if a student gives birth mid-cycle). If you'd have liked to join a cycle that's already started, feel free to get in touch — you may still be able to join partway through, depending on availability.

3. Sign up, or get in touch!

You can register online by following the instructions on this page, or you can also reach me by phone at 077.915.77.64 or by email at contact@roxane-luminaissance.com.

  • How does payment work?

Payment is made in full before the cycle begins.
You can pay online by following the instructions on this page.
Your spot in the cycle is secured once payment is received.

  • How many students per cycle?

Maximum 7 students per cycle, at The Yogarden studio in Lausanne.

  • What happens if I can't make it to a class during the cycle?

If you're available to attend a different class that same week, you can exceptionally switch time slots for that week (subject to availability).

If you can't attend any class that week, and you let me know more than 24 hours in advance, you can make up the class at a session in the following cycle (if you haven't already enrolled in it), or during a postnatal yoga class after your birth.

However, if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, the class is forfeited.

If possible, it's ideal to attend all the classes within the same cycle, in a spirit of continuity.

  • And what happens at the end of a cycle?

You can sign up for the next cycle! The themes covered stay the same, but the sequences change from one cycle to the next. Continuing this practice throughout your pregnancy is very beneficial for you.

  • What about late pregnancy?

From the 34th week of pregnancy, you can also join the special end-of-pregnancy prenatal yoga classes — in addition to, or instead of, the 6-week cycle.
