Full of partial support
From pregnancy to postpartum

My role is to give you the tools to live this stage of life according to your own values,

supporting you in the choices you make.

By presenting you with "the menu of possibilities,"

you're able to make conscious choices that truly reflect who you are.

Doula support during the perinatal period improves how the experience is felt and lived: the couple is informed, supported, and aligned with the way they wish to experience pregnancy, birth and postpartum — restored to their rightful place as the true protagonists, held in compassionate, judgment-free listening.

Physiological Perinatal Support for Parents (and Parents-to-Be)

As a doula (perinatal support companion), I support parents and parents-to-be (mother, father, partner) through a physiological approach to the period surrounding the birth of a child.

  • Preconception support

  • Emotional support throughout pregnancy

  • Sharing information and knowledge so you can make informed choices

  • Practical tools for empowerment and autonomy as a couple

  • Compassionate, judgment-free listening

  • Presence and support during labor and birth

  • Support through the shift in identity: from woman to mother, man to father, couple to family

  • Emotional support in the postnatal period

What does full support look like?

THE FIRST MEETING

The first meeting is essential — it's a chance to get to know each other and sense whether we're a good match. To support you well through such an intimate life experience, it's important that we connect on a human and relational level. Trust your intuition and how you feel. If, at the end of the meeting, you (or your partner) feel it isn't the right fit, no worries at all! I'll be happy to point you toward another doula colleague in your area.
If, on the other hand, we decide to embark on this journey together, we'll set out a schedule for our future meetings.

THE FOLLOWING MEETINGS

All meetings take place at your home (or via video call if you've chosen the virtual package).
The father's (or partner's) presence is highly recommended and beneficial (except for single-parent families).
I take care of bringing everything — you don't need to prepare anything.
Since every pregnancy is different, I offer support that's tailored to your expectations and needs. I provide a safe space where we'll explore different themes around pregnancy, birth and postpartum, along with your questions, doubts, wishes and hopes — so you can experience a conscious pregnancy, a respected birth, and an optimal postnatal period.
I'll offer you active, compassionate, judgment-free listening. I'll help you build your birth plan, and make sure you're informed enough to make truly educated decisions. I'll also share practical advice for managing pregnancy discomforts, pain management, and the role of the father (or partner) before, during and after birth.
I'll offer you my unwavering trust in your ability to carry out the birth plan you've built, along with emotional support at every step.

Between each meeting, and throughout our time together, I'm available by phone, email or video call.

PRESENCE AT BIRTH* (see conditions at the bottom of the page)

I'll be on call from the 38th week of pregnancy to support you during labor (in person or via video call). Once labor begins, you'll decide when — and whether — you'd like me by your side, based on how you're feeling.
During labor, I'll make sure you stay hydrated, I may suggest physiological positions, and I can offer massage, counter-pressure or other comfort techniques (or quietly guide your partner in doing so). I'll be with you in whatever way you need.
This is your birth — I'm only there to support your comfort and well-being, and to be a confident, reassuring witness.

Important note: with or without a doula, you will give birth to your baby. You don't need a doula in order to give birth. Having a doula present can support your comfort, the release of oxytocin, your sense of reassurance, your partner's involvement, and your overall satisfaction with how things unfold. But it's not your doula (or anyone else) who brings your baby into the world in your full power — that's entirely thanks to you (mother, father, partner).

POSTNATAL

If you'd like me present for your birth, I'll stay with you until the placenta is delivered, and through the first hours of the immediate postnatal period.
We'll then meet a few more times at your home in the weeks following the birth.

Valentina - Partial support - 2026

"We highly recommend Roxane, who supported us as a doula throughout my pregnancy and postpartum period. From our very first meeting, we felt listened to, understood, and supported with kindness. She was a precious and reassuring presence, always available to answer our questions and soothe our doubts.
We will cherish wonderful memories of this support which made all the difference during this very special time.

I also participated in her prenatal yoga classes, which allowed me to stay active during my pregnancy in a supportive environment. During these classes, Roxanne gives us lots of advice on how to best navigate this period and prepare ourselves physically and mentally for childbirth.

Thank you for everything 🌸 » (translated from French)

Important: A doula offers completely non-medical support. She is not a midwife, and her support in no way replaces medical care provided by a midwife or obstetrician-gynecologist.
Unlike a healthcare professional (midwife or doctor), a doula does not have medical responsibility. She does not provide any medical care related to pregnancy, the mother's or baby's health. She does not prescribe medication or make diagnoses.

As a doula, I position myself as a "friend of midwives".
